Nyonya Limau Purut Paste (Kaffir Lime Leaves paste) 220g
The Limau Purut Paste also known as kaffir lime leaves paste, the pride of Wise Chef.
This recipe is from our Peranakan family passed down from generations to generations. Many are not familiar with this dish as it is rarely found on Peranakan Restaurants’ menus.
Our Limau Purut Paste is made from natural ingredients and contains no coloring or preservatives. Texture is very similar to “rendang” but with the extra aroma of kaffir lime leaves giving it a citrus twist.
To prepare this dish, just add meat of your choice and stir fry with this paste until meat is tender and cooked. Serve it with rice or bread.
